• Prevailed on appeal before the Rhode Island Supreme Court in affirming a lower court’s ruling that medical practitioner was entitled to an immediate return of his license to practice and was awarded attorneys’ fees and costs in favor of practitioner and against the State by the lower court under the Rhode Island Equal Access to Justice Act.
  
  
• Secured a complete defense victory in a complex construction suit on behalf of two (2) third party defendants on grounds that the Economic Loss Doctrine barred the tort-based claims asserted by the primary plaintiffs against the primary defendants and therefore any derivative tort-based claims asserted against the third-party defendants must also fail.
  
  
• Successfully protested the award of a large Rhode Island public works project in excess of $50,000,000 on behalf of a joint venture client.
  
  
• Successfully defended subcontractor against defective work claims in excess of $200,000.00 and obtained arbitration award against owner on extra work claims in excess of $150,000.00 relative to multi-million dollar renovation of Boylston Middle/High School. 
  
  
• Successfully defended general contractor against owner’s defective work and liquidated damages claims in excess of $500,000.00 relative to $16.3 million dollar demolition and new construction of the Rhode Island College Alex & Ani Arts Center.
  
  
• Successfully defended wrongful termination claim by site subcontractor in an arbitration and obtained a damages award on behalf of general contractor for costs to complete subcontractor’s scope of work relative the demolition and new construction of the Rhode Island College Alex & Ani Arts Center.
  
  
• Successfully defended general contractor against owner’s defective work and liquidated damages claims in excess of $300,000.00 relative to the University of Rhode Island’s $8.8 million dollar renovations to Wellness Center.
  
  
• Successfully defended general contractor against multiple procurement complaints made by the University of Rhode Island, Rhode Island College and the Community College of Rhode Island.
  
  
• Successfully protested bid award by Town of North Smithfield on behalf of general contractor.
  
  
• Obtained Superior Court judgment on behalf of demolition contractor for its contract balance and extra work claims relative to the demolition of a Providence, RI parking garage and defended against owners’ liquidate.d damages claim.
  
  
• Successfully appealed administrative decision by Department of Health suspending a pharmacist’s license and obtained judgment against the State of Rhode Island relative to that suspension for over $45,000.00 in attorneys’ fees under the Equal Access to Justice Act.
  
  
• Obtained personal injury arbitration award in excess of $200,000.00.
  
  
• Obtained judgment against the City of Central Falls for attorneys’ fees under RIGL § 45-15-16 and the City of Central Falls’ Home Rule Charter
